How long does each therapy session take?
Sessions last from 50 to 60 minutes. During this time we will assess how you are doing on that day, complete some interventions such as trauma processing, identifying solutions, identifying patterns, and then end with some grounding exercises if needed.
What is the cancellation policy?
I understand life happens sometimes and schedules change. However, in order to make sure I can provide services to all of my clients, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. All cancellations and reschedules within 24 hours of an appointment will have a $50 late cancellation fee. No shows will also have a $50 fee.
What Techniques do you use?
I use a combination of techniques to create a personalized and holistic experience. I am certified in Gestalt Therapy and the Flash Technique. I am also trained in level 1 and level 2 of EMDR. I use these in conjunction with more traditional therapies such as CBT to create a well rounded approach to therapy and address any issue you may be facing.
What areas do you specialize in?
My primary focus is trauma and PTSD. I have also worked with barriers created for people related to depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+, bipolar, domestic violence, borderline personality, and autism.
How do I make payments?
All of my transactions are done through my online therapy platform, Theranest, and Stripe. Once you complete your intake paperwork and consents, your payment information will be held within Theranest. I will then bill after each session and it will automatically be taken from your chosen payment card. You will be emailed a receipt for each payment as well.
How is my information stored?
All of your information is stored on the online therapy platform, Theranest. This is a secure website created for therapists that will hold all of your notes, diagnostic codes, records, and billing information.
